Welcome to Spanish 1 class and the amazing opportunity to learn a new language!
Every student in my class has the same chance to succeed. This success depends on the student's desire to want to learn, work hard and behave appropriately in my classroom.
This course is an introduction to the Spanish language spoken in 20 countries in the world. In order to be competitive in today's global society and to become a well rounded individual it is essential to speak more than one language.
This class will teach students to understand, read, write, and communicate in Spanish.
After Spanish 1 eligible students will move on to Spanish 2 to deepen their understanding of the Spanish language and the colorful Hispanic culture.
